The festival continues to grow each year and is one of the greatest community events in Biddeford/Saco and southern Maine area, which makes it a perfect place to bring people of all ages together to crown individuals that will become ambassadors for the festival throughout the year. 

After being crowned at the pageant, these ambassadors will have opportunities to participate in community service events and activities in the area and throughout the state as a way to give back, help others and organizations, and represent the positive values the La Kermesse Franco-Americaine Festival strives for..  

Since the La Kermesse Festival is a cultural event and open to all, our delegates may be from Maine or any other state. They may even be from Canada or other countries.  It is open to girls and boys, women and men for different Princess/Prince and Queen/King titles.  ​
Due to COVID-19 the 2021 La Kermesse Franco-Americaine Festival has been canceled and therefore the Miss La Kermesse Pageant  has been as well.  The festival plans to return to Biddeford, Maine from June 23-26, 2022 at which time our titleholders will return and the second pageant will be held.  Our current titleholders may continue to make appearances and participate in community service and fundraisers as best they are able, given socially responsible measures.   

You may still complete a registration form (below) if you would like for us to contact you when more planning takes place.  Some of the categories and/or information may change before next year, however.

Optional Competitions are additional to the main pageant categories and
are scored on their own.  A person can win one or more optional competition
as well as their age division.
