Important Information

The Miss Holly Pageant is a fun pageant which you may earn a title to represent the pageant for a year and you are able to hold a title in other pageant systems.  We do not have a non-compete agreement, so you are able to compete in other pageants and hold other titles in our system and in other systems.  This pageant is a great way to gain experience, practice interview and walking skills, and get comments from judges.  

This year, due to COVID-19 we are holding the pageant as a Virtual Pageant

Age Divisions: A division is determined by the contestant's age on December 1, 2020.  

Tiny Miss:  Ages 0-1
Little Miss
:  Ages 2-3 
Jr. Princess:  Ages 4-6
Princess:  Ages 7-9      
Preteen:  Ages 10-12  
Jr. Teen:  Ages 13-15  
Teen:  Ages 16-18        
Miss:  Ages 19-25 
Ms.:  Ages 18+ and does not qualify for Teen, Miss, or Mrs. divisions - 
age 18+. single, divorced, widowed, with or without children.  
Mrs. :  Ages 18+ - married and with/without children.
Mr.: Ages 18+ - male, single, divorced, widowed, or married, with or without children.

Required Areas of Competition:  There will be 3 judges for each of the competitions.  
Interview (33.34% of overall score):  
  • The Tiny Miss, Little Miss divisions will not be interviewed. 
  • The Jr. Princess division contestants may decide to interview for practice but it will not be used for their score. 
  • All other division contestants will interview using an online format using the Zoom program.    
  • Contestants will be given an interview time and a Zoom meeting ID and password to sign into ahead of time.  
  • When it is your time to interview, you will be invited into the meeting.  
  • The contestant will see the judges initially and then the judges will turn their video off and the contestant will keep their video on.  This will help for the contestant to focus on the questions being asked and not be distracted by the Zoom video format in front of them.  Contestants should stand in front of their computer screen.  The interview timing will then begin. 
  • Interviews will last for 3 minutes for the Jr. Princess, Princess, and Preteen divisions and 4 minutes for the Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Mr. divisions. 
  • Interviews will start with the youngest age divisions and go on through the oldest age division. 
  
Fashion Wear (33.33% of overall score):  
  • All contestants will compete in this area.  
  • This is your opportunity to show your personality and shine! Contestants will be given a walking pattern to create in an environment available to you. 
  • It may be in a larger or smaller space and is a quicker pace than Formal Wear but not so fast that there is not enough time to judge you. 
  • Contestants may wear a fashion outfit or use the holiday/winter theme for this portion of the competition. 
  • A parent/adult may assist the contestants in the Tiny Miss and Little Miss division on stage.

Formal Wear (33.33% of overall score): 
  • Contestants should wear a floor length gown that is age appropriate and displays their own sense of style. Toes should be covered by the dress when it is worn. 
  • Those in the Tiny Miss, Little Miss, and Princess divisions do not need to wear a floor length gown and may wear a short dress. No cupcake dresses please!

Other Titles​: 
  • Other titles may be awarded as determined by the Judges and/or Director. 
  • These may include the Miss Holly Ambassador title, Miss Holly Director's Choice title, Miss Holly Humanitarian title, and/or the Miss Holly Angel title.  

Prizes/Awards:  
Each Contestant:  will receive a tiara, jewelry, and holiday package of gifts.  
Winners:  Of Age Divisions will receive a crown/tiara, embroidered sash, jewelry, Christmas stocking of gifts
                     and additional gifts throughout the year.  
Optional Competition Categories:  There will be up to 3 winners for Optional Competition Categories:
                     1.  One winner from either the Tiny Miss or Little Miss Divisions.
                     2.  One winner from the Junior Divisions:  Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen
                     3.  One winner from the Senior Divisions:  Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms., Mrs., and Mr.    
Optional Competition Categories:
                     For Tiny Miss and Little Miss:  Photogenic, Casual Wear
                     For all other older divisions:  Photogenic, Casual Wear, Active Wear, Talent , and Writer's Award
Special Awards, Titles, and Scholarships may be given as determined by the director.

​To Register for the Miss Holly Pageant

  • Go to the Registration Section and complete the Registration Form.
  • Pay the Registration Fee using one of the methods listed in the registration section.
  • Once your registration fee of $125.00 is paid and received in full, send a Facebook Friend request to Lisa Ottman (profile photo of a sailboat) and you will be added to a Secret Facebook Group and can access the official handbook as well as other forms and information.  
  • ​Deadline to Register, Pay Fees, and submit videos is December 28, 2020.
  • Interview times will be set-up with the contestants/parents following this date.​​
