Important Information
The Miss Holly Pageant is a fun pageant which you may earn a title to represent the pageant for a year and you are able to hold a title in other pageant systems. There is not a non-compete agreement, so you may use it as a practice pageant to help you in interview and on stage and get judge's comments for feedback.
This is a one day event with rehearsals and the pageant on the same day!

- Pay the Registration Fee using 1 of 3 methods listed in the registration section.
- Once your registration fee of $125.00 is paid and received in full, send a Facebook Friend request to Lisa Ottman (profile photo of a sailboat) and you will be added to a Secret Facebook Group and can access the official handbook as well as other forms and information.
- All Required fees must be paid by November 18, 2019 in order to compete on the day of the pageant.
Age Divisions: A division is determined by the contestant's age on November 15, 2019. Should opportunities come to continue on to a state level pageant or other pageants, using your title, you will need to meet the requirements of that system for age determination and divisions they might have, which may be different from those we will have in this Miss Holly pageant. The Miss Holly Pageant is part of the New England Scholarship Pageants and is independent from other pageant systems, though supportive of many, as we promote positive pageantry.
Tiny Miss: Ages 0-1
Little Miss: Ages 2-3
Jr. Princess: Ages 4-6
Princess: Ages 7-9
Preteen: Ages 10-12
Jr. Teen: Ages 13-15
Teen: Ages 16-18
Miss: Ages 19-25
Ms.: Ages 18+ and does not qualify for Teen, Miss, or Mrs. divisions - age 18+. single, divorced, widowed, with or without children.
Mrs. : Ages 18+ - married and with/without children.
Opening Number Attire:
Contestants should wear a red, short dress. It may be a high/low dress. A Santa hat will be given to each contestant as a keepsake at the registration/check-in table the day of the pageant. Shoes may be white, silver, or nude.
Required Areas of Competition: There will be 3 judges for each of the competitions.
Interview (33.34% of overall score): The Tiny Miss and Little Miss divisions will not be interviewed. All other divisions will interview with contestants standing in front of all judges in a panel style format. Interviews will last for 3 minutes for the Jr. Princess and Princess divisions and 4 minutes for the Preteen, Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms. and Mrs. divisions. Interviews will begin with the youngest age divisions and go on through the oldest age division.
Runway (33.33% of overall score): All contestants will compete in this area. This is your opportunity to rock the runway! Contestants will compete in a fast paced and upbeat fashion portion, modeling an outfit of your choice that you might see on a runway. The Tiny Miss and Little Miss Division contestants will participate in this area of competition. A parent/adult may assist the contestants in the Tiny Miss and Little Miss division on stage. Contestants may wear a holiday/winter theme for the Fashion Runway portion of the pageant. However, it is not required to do this.
Evening Gown (33.33% of overall score): Contestants should wear a floor length gown that is age appropriate and displays their own sense of style. Toes should be covered by the dress when it is worn. Those in the Tiny Miss and Little Miss divisions do not need to wear a floor length gown and may wear a short dress.
Other Titles:
Miss Holly Ambassador Title: This titleholder will be selected by being the contestant that sells the most Sponsor Ad Pages. One ad page is required from each contestant. Every contestant has the opportunity to work hard to sell ad pages and possibly become this titleholder. If a contestant wins her division, the next person with the highest amount of ad pages sold will earn this title. It's a wonderful opportunity and well worth the effort! This titleholder will earn prizes and participate in events and activities as the other titleholders will throughout the year.
Cash Award:
The Kate O. Eaton Humanitarian Award: $100.00 Cash Award will be given to the person selected from those that apply using the special application associated with this award. Fee to apply for this award is $25.00. Consideration of the candidate's participation in community service, ways of showing kindness, being a role model, etc. will be parts of the criteria for determining the recipient of this award and cash prize.
Prizes/Awards:
Each Contestant: will receive a trophy, plaque, or medal and a special holiday gift.
Winners: Of Age Divisions will receive a crown/tiara, sash, trophy, plaque, or medal and a special sash pin.
Optional Competition Categories: There will be up to 3 winners for Optional Competition Categories:
1. One winner from either the Tiny Miss or Little Miss Divisions.
2. One winner from the Junior Divisions: Jr. Princess, Princess, Preteen
3. One winner from the Senior Divisions: Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms. and Mrs.
Optional Competition Categories:
For Tiny Miss and Little Miss: Photogenic, Casual Wear, Supermodel
For all other older divisions: Photogenic, Casual Wear, Supermodel, Fitness Wear, Talent and Kate O. Eaton Humanitarian Award
